Rised at 396 meter, it is accessible by a cable car and in my opinion offers the best view of Rio’s beaches Flamengo, Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon and Pedra de Gavea. The access by cable car is done in two steps: First stop at Morro de Urca, then you up the famous Sugar Loaf mountain, with nothing but air below you!
At sunset, the view of the south of Rio is quite simply outstanding!
And on our return I suggest a walk through the calm area of Urca to try the best pastries of the town, in a small charming bar at the bottom of the bay.
Length: around 2 hours and a half
Price: 65 euros (includes entrance)
It is strongly advice to visit this area during the weekdays to avoid huge queues during the weekend.
Every guided tour that I offer is adaptable to your own preference, needs and of course depends of the weather forecast.
