The historical center of the town, today the business center of the city, is interspersed with buildings from the Colonial period. In historic terms, it was in its center that the Portuguese crown created the town in the 16th century.
Whether you are going to the Praça XV, the Confeitaria Colombo or even the popular Uruguaiana market, a walk through the centre is defiantly worth it! One can visit the art museum, the national library… and if you want you can even take a boat to the Museum of architectural modern art Oscar Niemeyer at Niteroi.
A dive into the past, a pass into the world of current business, an effervescent swim…
